One thing I’ve noticed about many marketing agencies and studios is this: they work incredibly hard helping clients market themselves… but often neglect their own visibility.

They become the invisible experts behind the scenes.

In our business, we’ve intentionally chosen a different path.

While we are helping clients redesign websites, strategize marketing and strengthen their digital presence, we are simultaneously building and marketing our own programs and intellectual property.

We call this parallel marketing.

We Don’t Just Teach Marketing. We Practice It Daily.

As we help clients with their marketing, we are also actively marketing our own initiatives, including:

  • Big Timer game-based learning workshops
  • The Big Timer University Program
  • Leadership and visibility programs such as From Vision to Voice
  • Online events such as The Visibility Lab
  • Our podcast, Womenpreneur Asia

Through programs and collaborations, we are actively sharing what our brand stands for, what we believe in and the kind of innovation we want to bring into the marketplace.

We are not just here to provide services for clients but we are here to help clients think bigger, communicate better, become more visible and discover innovative ways to grow their businesses and ideas.

28 Years Of Building, Testing, Learning

We’ve been doing this since 1998, when we first started as a web development studio.

Over the past 28 years, the digital landscape has changed dramatically:

  • Websites evolved
  • Social media emerged
  • Content marketing exploded
  • AI transformed discoverability
  • Visibility became more important than ever

Through all these shifts, one thing remained consistent:

The businesses that continue learning, adapting, experimenting and communicating their value are the ones that stay relevant.

That’s why we continue building programs, workshops, educational initiatives, and visibility concepts of our own while serving clients at the same time.

Parallel Marketing Works

We know this concept works because everything we learn through our own marketing efforts becomes valuable insight for our clients.

When we test:

  • Messaging
  • Positioning
  • Content strategies
  • Workshop concepts
  • Partnership outreach
  • Visibility campaigns
  • Educational marketing approaches

…we gather real-world experience and practical data.

That means our consulting, teaching, and strategy recommendations are not based purely on theory or something we simply read in books.

They come from lived experience.

They come from actual implementation.

They come from real conversations, real launches, real audiences, real feedback and real experimentation.

And when we discover what works, we can help our clients apply those lessons more effectively to their own businesses.

Exploring AI Within Our Business First

For the past one year, we have been actively exploring AI agents and AI workflows — first within our own business.

We believe the best way to understand how AI should work for clients is to experience it ourselves first. In many ways, we become our own testing ground.

We experiment with:

  • AI-assisted workflows
  • Content systems
  • Automation processes
  • Research support
  • Visibility workflows
  • Educational and training support systems
  • Productivity-enhancing AI agents

By using ourselves as the “guinea pigs,” so to speak, we gain practical understanding of what works, what doesn’t, what saves time, what creates confusion and what genuinely improves productivity.

This matters because AI is not just about using tools. It is about designing workflows and systems that fit real businesses and real people.

As we continue on this AI journey ourselves, we are learning how to better help solopreneurs, coaches, consultants, educators and service-based businesses integrate AI meaningfully into their work.

And once we understand these systems deeply through lived experience, we are able to teach, guide, and implement them more effectively for clients.

For us, AI is not just another trend to talk about.

It is another layer of parallel marketing, parallel learning, and parallel innovation happening in real time.

Innovation Happens When You Build

One reason we continue creating our own programs and initiatives is because innovation rarely happens when you only execute for others.

Innovation happens when you build your own ideas.

By developing our game, workshops, educational frameworks, leadership initiatives, visibility programs and AI-driven systems, we stay creatively sharp and connected to the realities of today’s marketplace.

We understand what it feels like to:

  • Launch something new
  • Explain unfamiliar ideas
  • Build trust from scratch
  • Refine positioning over time
  • Consistently stay visible
  • Adapt when strategies change
  • Learn emerging technologies while applying them in real business situations

That empathy matters when serving clients.

Marketing While Serving

Some people assume that marketing your own business while serving clients is distracting. We believe in the contrary: it strengthens the work we do.

Because we are continuously learning, adapting, testing, communicating, building, and evolving in real time, we stay deeply connected to what modern visibility actually requires.

We are not simply parroting or observing marketing trends from the sidelines but we are participating in the marketing trends as they unfold and evolve.

The Future Belongs Those Who Know How To Adapt and Build

Businesses need more than technical execution. As a business owner, you need visibility, positioning, trust and agility.

And increasingly, clients want to work with businesses that are actively building, experimenting and evolving themselves.

That is the philosophy and manifesto of Redbox Studio.

We are not only helping others grow. We are growing and innovating alongside them.
