Hello everyone! It’s the first week of November and this month is going to be a month of more online teaching and talking (in between our own FB Live that is).

I’ve been asked by IABC Malaysia to share specifics about the tech I use, what I do before I press the “Go Live” button and the lessons I’ve learnt the tough way.

I will also share some stories of the real things that happened to me such as:

— 83 seconds before my FB Live starts and I am frantically trying to log in to the streaming dashboard. My guest, who is already INSIDE the studio is texting me worriedly, “Where are you?”

— The time when my guest does a Thanos-like disappearing act on me. He morphed away into the ether as we are having a conversation on FB Live and then there’s only ME on the screen. And we’re talking about a technical subject!

— Echoes that ring in my ears and in my viewers’ ears on my first FB Live and I don’t know how to get rid of that problem! Do I go on or do I stop everything and try to fix this irritating sound?

These are the real crazy things that happened to me while I was hosting my FB Live sessions. And that’s not even the prep parts!

I’ll tell you more when you join me in my first-ever-pull-back-the-curtains Zoom session with IABC Malaysia. I can chuckle about those moments now but they were not that funny when I was on the receiving end of it.

I’ll talk about the tech I use and what important lessons I’ve learnt in hosting my own FB Live episodes and appearing on other people’s “shows”. Also, why I decided to go on FB Live when I have always held back on live video.

And of course, it’s an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session too.

I think it’s going to be a fun and enlightening session as I will be sharing with you all that I know after 18 episodes of FB Live.
