Because Facebook themselves admit it – your organic posts are reaching fewer and fewer people these days. In 2012, it was 16 out of 100 people. In February this year, according to a Social@Ogilvy analysis of more than 100 brand pages, organic reach hovered at 6 percent.
This means Facebook is NOT showing your posts to everyone who follows you!
And of course, Facebook wants you to advertise.
