After 2 months of not having our free talks, we finally got back into the groove yesterday and held one for those who had signed up to learn how to market properly with their website.
Next month though we are tweaking the concept a little – we’re renaming it a free mini workshop because we want you to be hands-on when you attend. Right now, the talks are fun but participants need to participate -that is how we learn better. You’ll get worksheets to help you remember more of what you learnt.
Anyway, here are some photos from yesterday’s session. Thanks to Jeffery, Evelyne, Fazlu, Sangara, Christopher and Lee who attended.
This was a nice mix of people from different backgrounds – Evelyne who is managing a hotel situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site (the hotel is under restoration) and her son, Jeffery; Sangara and Christopher are e-learning consultants, Fazlu runs his own computer hardware and networking business while Lee is a retiree.
For the first time ever, we had a record of sorts with the youngest attendee, Jeffery, who is 14 years old. He came with his mum, Evelyne but he was actually representing his father! I thought he was a bright young man who is 14 going on 40! He had a lot of opinions about websites too. A number of his observations were spot-on and made sense. And all this coming from a teenager too.
If you want to join us in November, remember to sign up fast. You can bring along a friend too!
