Our Langkawi trips are much welcome because we get to breathe in fresh Langkawi air!
This time, we had enough time to go boating with friends and enough time to have dips in the ocean. And actually feel like a tourist because we took our time exploring Pantai Tengah. Whenever we go to Langkawi, we often go to meet clients but this time, we planned out our time so we could enjoy more instead of rushing from one client to another.
Also, Paul kindly invited us for a delicious Chinese New Year Chap Goh Meh dinner in Kuah town too, together with his business associates and friends. I didn’t dare to drink too much as I was driving that night but the wines and beers flowed freely!
Plus we took time off for a long breakfast with Ann, a friend and client at our favourite breakfast place, The Loaf, on Perdana Quay. With sailing vessels docked at the quay, I do feel like I am in some Mediterranean country!
That aside, we dropped in to visit the owner of Villa Molek, whom we designed a website for last year. Her villas are now looking great plus the garden areas are growing well in the hot Langkawi sun. And her Molek Cafe which serves breakfast and Malay cuisine (for lunch and dinner) is already open and attracting a sizeable number of guests.
All in all it was a great trip!
